Blackstarx is a local afro-beats musical duo composed of King Koss aka Kossi Kouedjin & Young Flame aka Lartey K. Tetteh that is based in Phoenix, Arizona. Original from West African “King Koss” from Togo and “Young Flame” from Sierra Leone discovered each other’s talents and harmonized it with the goal to conquer the world through their musical talent. Blackstarx sounds is a mixture of Rap, Afro pop, Dancehall, and hip hop making their music genre very diversitile with flashy music videos to back it up. Gaining fans from all around the world, the dream was to show the world what they got and now the world is beginning to stand up and take notice of the talented duo known as Blackstarx. The duo has released some amazing hit songs over the years that are currently on all streaming platforms and some of their hits songs included Catalina, Black Barbie Doll, and Heard em say. An article from MTV quotes them as the best upcoming Afro-pop duo in the United States.
