About ECOFEST
Short for Festival of ECOWAS nations, ECOFEST is the first of its kind amalgamating the entertainment industry in West Africa and mostly and guest nations from other parts of Africa.
The need for such a concept was borne out of the desire to see a harmonized West African entertainment front. Whilst it is clear that the two English speaking giants of West Africa, Nigeria and Ghana are blazing the trail in the entertainment industry in West Africa and even Africa as a whole, amassing millions of dollars in revenue every year, their counterparts such as Liberia, Sierra Leone, The Gambia and Guinea aren’t struggling to keep up.
