GREO is a musician currently based in Sacramento, CA. Originally hailing from Atlanta, GA, she started her musical career singing in southern Baptist choirs and youth groups. Her love for lyricism and penmanship eventually led her to the world of hip-hop, where her natural talent has guided her to becoming a formidable contender.
Paying homage to her Liberian and Sierra Leonean heritage, GREO strives to honor both her roots in Africa and her upbringing in the American south. Her name pays respects to the griots of pre-colonial Africa that traveled from village to village telling stories of history and tradition, and she hopes to use her music as a tool to accomplish the same goal.
