About Stafford Lodge
Stafford Lodge is family owned and ran. In late 2009, ground was broken on the Stafford Lodge and the doors did not open until roughly eight years later. Stafford, the owner of Stafford Lodge is a native of Sierra Leone he was born and raised in Makeni. After the death of his beloved grandmother Alice, Stafford returned to Sierra Leone and took a room at a hotel in downtown Freetown. The hotel was inexpensive and did not have any of the amenities a traveler would expect when staying in a hotel. But he found comfort in having a private room while visiting. Stafford felt he could offer the same inexpensive rate but include many of the must have amenities a traveler is looking for in a hotel.
