Girlz Empowered is an organization established to promote gender equality and the empowerment of women and girls in Sierra Leone, West Africa.
Girlz Empowered is established to raise awareness and campaign against Harmful Traditional Practices (HTP`s) such as Female Genital Mutilation (FGM), Early and Enforced Child Marriage and all forms of Gender-Based Violence and their ancillary practices/ activities with a view to saving lives, promote gender equality and protect the human rights of girls and women in Sierra Leone.
